Aloha, beautiful people of the Inter-webs! Today, I will share a quick look, that will take you under 5 minutes to do. I was on vacation for 3 weeks and this is what I used to wear this everyday, since it is very easy and quick, yet makes you look presentable.
Step 1: Concealer
I use the garnier bb cover concealer with the metal roller ball as a highlight concealer. I put it in a triangle shape under my eyes, another triangle on my forehead, on the bridge of my nose, on the sides of my mouth and finally on the sides of my nose. This will highlight the skin, without an extra layer of foundation.
Step 2: Powder
I just get my beauty blender and set all the places that we out concealer on with a bit of powder. I use a powder that is a shade lighter than my skin so I don’t have to use a highlighter when I put on the contour. I still use the L’Oreal bb powder, a you may know this is my HOLY-GRAIL powder of all time: high end and drugstore.
Step 3: Contour
This may seem really weird to do in a 5 minute look, but I got used to applying a bit of shade to my face, so now I just do it everyday. I use the same beauty blender as I did earlier, but I dip it in the sleek contour kit in medium. I just got this, and I have to say: it is AMAZING! It just gives you the perfect shade to contour your face. I shade my cheekbones, nose, forehead, and jawline then blend it with my finger tips, as the warmth of your fingers will melt the product into your skin top a natural finish.
Step 4: Blush
This is the last step for the face, and that is just to give that beautiful glow to the face. I like to use a cream blush for this, as it is the summer and they look more dewy. A dewy finish is equal to a more youthful finish. I use the NYX cream blush in ‘glow’, which is a nice bright pink. I also use my beauty blender for this; I like to use the same tool so I don’t spend more time switching between them.
Step 5: Eyes
I just prime my lids really quick with y NYX HD primer/base, then get my Naked Basics-best pallet for quick neutral looks- and get Walk of Shame (w.o.s) all of the lid, then faint in the crease. I will apply mascara to my lashes, and that switches everyday, so I can’t really tell you which one I use.
Step 6: Lips
I apply some lip balm, then just grab that cream blush from before and just swipe it on my lips for a flush of colour. It lasts a good while, but if you have extra time then just swipe a lip stain on them so it lats all day.
I know this seems like it would take a while to do- or at least more than 5 minutes- but with practice, like every other thing in life, you will be able to do it in less than 5 minutes.
