Describing myself was never a strong suit of mine, so I do apologize if this does not satisfy what you’re looking for.

I’ve had this blog for years and years now, the archive of posts cataloging all my interests and phases as I’ve grown up. Old friendships, favorite books, bad writing and everything in between. I’ve thought about deleting everything and starting from scratch numerous times, but I feel like my backlog of writing describes me more than any about page could.

To be frank, I don’t even know me, so I’m quite useless in this whole telling you who I am situation, but I’ll try. I’m a girl with a keyboard that loves to read, argue about politics and write crappy poetry. I spend most of my days studying or reading or procrastinating, but we won’t delve into that. I fall into rabbit holes of researching random writers, or pieces of art or the history of some obscure word. I enjoy the sound of a fountain pen scratching at paper and the clacking of my keyboard as I pour my thoughts out. I’ve fallen in love with the smell of bookstores and the feel of a used spine. I live off the bitterness of black coffee in the morning and the late night quiet I hear when I’m the only one up studying at 3AM.

Politics, art, music, prose, poetry, history and all that falls in-between… I love it all. What I’m trying to convey is that, I’ve fallen in love with a lot. Devoted by heart and mind to many. This blog is just a way for me to share some of my musings, document my days, try to understand the world as I walk clueless. I do not know what will become of this blog or what I’ll decide to post, but I hope you enjoy some of it, at least.
