Oh, my god! Are you surprised? I am. I actually posted. Twice. On the days I was supposed to post. GASP. Let’s not jinx it. 😂 I’ve also been meaning to write this post for the longest time. I’m talking like over 3 months. Anyways, I’m finally posting it.
I’m gonna be showing you guys some of my favorite stationary that you should go out and buy if you’re into that stuff like me. I have a list of around 8 items that are an absolute staple in my study routine. So let’s dive in.
(Sorry for not having photos, I’ll be adding my own in by this weekend)
1. Pilot Juice 0.38 Gel Pen
I think I’ve mentioned this before, but the Pilot Juice pen is one of the very first ‘studyblr’ pens I bought, and I’ve literally fell in love with it. It was the pen I always reached for for like a year almost, but that’s changed slightly. The best thign about this is that the ink is really smoth and doesn’t dump out ink, which is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to pens.
2. Muji Hexagonal Polycarbonate 0.38 Gel Pen
As you might have noticed, I like thinner pens 😂. I was a bit hesitant to try this out since I don’t like the other muji gel pens that studyblrs love. I find that those dumped out so much ink when you started writing. These don’t do that, and are a lot more comfortable to write with. This has quickly become my all time favorite pen. I tend to grab this a lot more than the Pilot Juice now.
3. Pentel Energel 0.5 Needle Tip Gel Pen
This is the only gel pen I’ve found that doesn’t smudge with highlighters, and because of that, I have to recommend this to all students out there. The ink is really smooth and the barrel is comfortable to hold, but the only negative point I would like to mention is the fact that 0.5 is the thinnest point. The 0.5 tip acts like a 0.7, so the studyblr community as a whole would really appreciate it if they came out with a 0.38 point.
4. Zebra Mildliner Highlighters/Markers
If you’ve ever seen a studyblr post on tumblr then you’ve definitely seen these highlighters. They’re almost an essential now; at least I would say so. They have 20 colors ranging from pastel yellow to a dark grey. They’re beautiful for notetaking since you can highlight, underline, and use them to letter for your headers as they have a chisel and bullet nib. Not to mention they’re not that expensive.
5. Pentel Hi-Polymer Eraser
I never really cared about erasers until I tried this one. I thought they were all the same, but… They’re not. This literally erases everything, which you’d expect it to do, but apparently everyone else just doesn’t work. Trust me. Get one and thank me later.
6. Muji Recycled Notebooks
You can tell I’ve gotten a bit Muji obsessed. I blame it on the new Muji store than opened up. It’s not my fault.
I got a set of the B5 sized notebooks, and they’re literally perfect. I use one for my school notes and one as my blog notebook (look out for a post on that in the future). I also bought an a A5 one which I use as my new bullet journal. I do have to say, these notebooks look so asthetic in photos. And since the paper is so smooth it makes my handwriting a lot neating, which I’m not mad about.
7. Tombow Mono Correction Tape
Before I got this, I used any cheap correction tape I found, but this literally changed my views on correction tape/fluid. I’ll never use anything else. IT’S SO SMOOTH. Everythign else sucks when you put it next to this tape. They’re a bit pricy for what they are, but if you buy the 10 pack it’s a lot cheaper, and since I use them up quickly it’s a better deal overall.
8. Bic Matic Grip Mechanical Pencil
When it comes to pencils, I find that I don’t really like anythig too fancy. I tried Muji’s hexagonal pencil and Paper Mate’s Clear Point but I don’t really see a difference. I use these because a. They’re cheap. So b. I don’t feel guilty when I lose them and c. I like a thinner barrel with a grip, which is exactly what this has.
