I haven’t been a good blogger lately, but you know what? I’m trying my best.
The last couple days have been full of taking blog photos, writing, and getting ready for some really fun collaborations with brands and fellow bloggers. This day just happened to be on my DELF exam day and dangerously close to finals’ revision week.
So during this follow me around post, you’ll be able to see how I juggled schoolwork and blogging on this Saturday.
I woke up at around 9 AM and got ready so I could get ready and leave in time for my DELF exam later that morning.
Here’s a panorama view of my room; it was really messy, don’t judge. Also, I’m planning on doing a room tour video sometime in the summer, so look out for that.
Here you have an incredibly cringy photo of me after I got ready to leave.
I’m wearing a mask because there was an extreme sandstorm going on. #SaudiArabiaStruggles.
My DELF A2 Exam (it’s a fancy french exam. According to their website: The DELF and DALF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates.) started at 3:35, but I had to be there at 2:00.
If you guys don’t know what a sandstorm looks like, then here’s an idea. Yeah. Not fun. You could literally feel your throat drying up. They couldn’t pick a better day for an exam.
I know most of these photos are of my DELF exam, but it took up most of my day. I had to go to this separate center and take the exam there, so… here’s a photo of it I guess. There’s not much to say.
After all that was done, I came back home and planned a couple blog posts out for the day and month, and worked on outlining a couple more for an hour or so.
I decided to suck it up and use the little light available for some blog photos. This can get pretty messy. As you can see, my room was a mess by the end of taking the photos.
While I took the photos, I listened to the audiobook of Helter Skelter, I listened to a fair chunk during this because I was taking photos on and off for about 3 hours, or until the sun went down.
At this point, I decided it would be a good idea to sit down and solve a couple past papers so I could get ready for the exams coming up. I didn’t get that much done, but I solved about 4 past papers by the end of my little study session.
After that, I sat down again and wrote a bit more. I outlined 2 posts, but I didn’t actually type up any posts, sadly.
I imported the photos I took earlier on in the day and edited them so I could feel a little productive.
I decided to end my day by unwinding in the bath with a comic.
That’s all I really did, to be honest, I’m not all that interesting, but I hope you enjoyed following me around for the day! Keep an eye out for new posts that I’ve been working on!
