The GoodReads Book Tag | Books

It’s been a while since I’ve done a book tag… I should do one.

That’s the story of how this blogpost came to be! This is a pretty old tag that’s been going around booktube for a while, so I’m not sure who created this, but tell me in the comments if you know.

I’m a GoodReads addict, so this is the perfect post for me! People use Instagram and Facebook (is that still a thing?) a lot, but Goodreads is my thing! ADD ME!!!

It’s 12 questions long, so let’s get straight into this!

1. What was the last book you marked as ‘Read’?

I’m writing this in advance, so it’s probably something different by the time you’re reading this, but at the moment the last book I’ve read is the 3rd book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan, The Titan’s Curse.

2. What are you currently reading?

At the moment of writing this, I’m reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert.

3. What is the last book you marked as ‘To-Read’?

It technically doesn’t have a name or cover, but it’s the third book in the Court Of Thornes and Roses Trilogy/series.

4. What book to you plan on reading next?

I’m planning on reading the third book in the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Trilogy, Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs.

5. Do you use the star rating system?

I do, but I think it could be better. They should really make half stars, or even percentage ratings, because we can’t just pick a straight up rating.

6. Did you set a Goodreads Reading Challenge?

Yes! I first set it to 50 books, but I surpassed that, so I bumped it up to 75 books! I’m currently at 70 books (18/09/16), so I’m sure I’ll be reading more than 75 books this year!

7. Do you have a wishlist?

I don’t have a wishlist shelf on goodreads, but I do have a mental one…. I guess that doesn’t count because it is the GoodReads book tag…

8. What book do you plan on buying next?

I don’t really know. I’m planning on buying Shane Dawson’s new book soon, so maybe that, but I’m not really sure if it’s gonna be the next book I buy.

9. Do you use the quotes section? If so, share a couple.

I do sometimes, but it’s not really updated. my favourite 2 are:
