Hey, beautiful! Today, I will be doing another music review! This one is going to be on Kane Brown’s I Love That I Hate You’
I have only done one of these in the past, and that is my music review of Troye Sivan’s WILD EP; and I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to do another one.
So here it goes…
Information About the song
Artist: Kane Brown
Release Date: November 1, 2015
As you can see, this is a country song, which I don’t really reach for that much, but of you listen to the song, it’s actually really catchy.
And I’m just gonna say this right away, this is clearly country, bot some subtle country vibe, this is all out country.
But even if you don’t like the genre as a whole, I recommend you give this song a go.
Kane has such a raspy, yet smooth voice that just relaxes me; it’s weird, but I like it.
When the ‘beat drops’ it’s not really that much of a drop, but it is a really effective one. It gets you going, like you’ll find your self swaying to the beat and nodding your head without even feeling it.
The course is also really catchy, and gets stuck in your head a lot, so beware.
And I forgot to mention, if also has this all american kinda vibe, throughout the song, which some people adore; for me, it’s okay, I don’t mind it, but some times it gets on my nerves.
The whole tune of the song is calm, yet gives you that feeling of fulfilment.
The guitar strums are really calming, but get you in the rhythm; which is exactly what I like for reading: not to soft, and not to loud.
The lyrics are really catchy, and seem to have a deep meaning. I don’t want to say that this is a heart-break song, but it kind of is, even though he says that he hates this person.
Its not really clear if Kane loves this person of hates them, which just makes it oh so more relatable.
I feel like you can tense some anger in his voice, but so much passion… So I guess you can portray it just about how you want to.
