New Music Releases #2 | Music

Hey, beautiful! Today -or the day I’m writing this-, December the 4th, is an amazing day for music.

There are 5 albums/EPs that are truly amazing, that have been released on this day.

You may remember that I did a post about new music releases back in the early fall, but if you didn’t go check that out, then come back here.

And one last point before I go to the bulk of the post; I want to just mention that I’m mostly into pop-punk/alternative/rock/metal music, so if you wanted some pop news, then I recommend you check out another blog.

  • A Head Full of Dreams by Coldplay

Genre: Alternative

Release Date: December 4th 2015

Okay, now to be honest, I never was really into Coldplay, but this album is just perfection. Pure perfection.

I really enjoyed listening to this while reading, and I think I will really be loving listening to this when I want more calm songs.

I was just released today -December 4ht- so I can’t say anything aboutit being overplayed and getting on my nerves, so I’ll keep you updated on that on my twitter.

You can buy the album on Itunes here.

  • Blue Neighbourhood by Troye Sivan

Genre: Pop

Release Date: December 4th 2015

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I enjoy Troye Sivan’s music. I truely adore it, and I adore him.

I actually mentioned him in my last New Music Releases post, and I have a review on his WILD EP.

This album, was just WOW! As I said with the Coldplay album, this album is really low, and calm, yet it has a good beat to it.

Not to mention how beautiful the cover art is!

I always forget how good Troye’s voice is, that is until I’m reminded by this piece of art! Just amazing, I give it a 5/5!

You can buy the album on Itunes here.

  • Every Trick in the Book by Ice Nine Kills

Genre: Heavy Metal

Release Date: December 4th 2015

I actually just found out about this band when I was scrolling through tumblr, and I can’t say that I’ve heard of Ice Nine Kills before, so I gave them a shot and listened to the album, and it is really good!

The songs all have a different feel to them, but they all go under the same kind of theme. I enjoy a good album like this, even though heavy metal isn’t my top pick.

This band, just has an overall amazing image, and I fell bad that I haven’t found out about them before.

You can buy the album on Itunes here.

  • Opacities EP by Sikth

Genre: Rock

Release Date: December 4th 2015

When I bought the Ice Nine Kills album, this came up in the recommendations section, so I decided to check it out. And oh boy, this is so good.

If you like classic rock kind of mixed with modern rock, then I think You’ll like this EP.

I also really like the cover’s art work; it kind of reminds me of the world in the Luner Chronicles mixed with a bit of Hogwarts (book references).

All the songs have a different feel, kind of like the Ice Nine Kills album, but they blend in so well together. I just think this is an overall great EP.

You can buy the EP on Itunes hereOpacities
