Aloha, beautiful people of the Inter-webs! Today, I will be sharing with you some my favourite new music releases. There has been so much good music coming out these last few months, so why keep them to myself?! I will also be including some albums/songs that are still not released that I am excited about -that was a long ass sentence. So lets get started!
- That’s the Spirt by Bring Me the Horizon
This is one of the best albums I have listened to in a long whiel to be honest. It has this really sweet vibe yet it still has a rock-y alternative feel to it. It is the best of both worlds. My favourite songs are: True Friends, Follow You, Balasphemy, and my top pick is What You Need or Happy Song You can buy the album on iTunes here. Or you can listen for free here.
- BADLANDS by Halsey
I have just recently found out about Halsey this year but she is already one of my favourite musicians already. When she came out with her debut album, I just fell in love. Her lyrics have such a deep meaning if you actually listen closely to them and all her songs are really catchy. My favourite songs from the album are: Castle, Gasoline, and Walk the Line. You can buy the album on iTunes here. Or you can listen to it for free here.
- WILD EP by Troye Sivan
Troye is already one of my favourite YouTubers, and his TRYXE EP was awesome (I am wearing his TRYXE mercy while writing this, such a weird coincidence) so when he announced he was releasing a new EP, I could wait! I was in no way disappointed when I heard it. His voice is so smooth and don’t get me started on his beautiful accent. Now that I have the EP in my music library, I can’t even get enough of it. My favourites are: FOOLS, EASE (feat. Broods) and THE QUIET. You can buy the EP on iTunes here. Or you can listen to it for free here.
- The Update EP by Brayton Bowman
I have just recently found out about Brayton from a youtube video, and ever since then, I have had his EPs on repeat. I loved the ‘Here Now’ EP, and loved ‘The Update’ EP even more. His music is really… I don’t really know how to describe it, it’s really smooth I guess if you can say that about music. My favourite songs on the EP are Real, and Side. Buy the EP on iTunes here. Or listen to it for free here.
- She’s Kinda Hot EP by 5 Seconds of Summer
You guys know that 5sos are by far my far my favourite band, and they are going to be mentioned again in this list actually, so when they released their new EP, I started jumping up and down. You don’t get it, like I was hyperventilating. This EP is only available in the UK, so you kinda have to listen to it illeagaly if you are in other countries. My favourite songs are Over and Out, Broken Pieces, and Lost in Reality. Buy the EP on iTunes if you are in the UK here, or you can listen to it on this playlist.
- Mine EP by Pheobe Ryan
This isn’t really new, but it was released in late June. I have been in love with this EP. She has such a powerful voice, I love all the songs on the ep, but I’m not a big fan of ‘Homie’. I LOVE ‘Mine (feat. Skinny Mars) [Michael Keenan Remix]’ This is my ‘feel good’ song at the moment. You can buy the EP on iTunes here. Or you can listen to it for free here.
- Sounds Good Feels Good by 5 Seconds of Summer
As I said this before, 5sos are my favourite band. This is their second album ad they are going to release it on the 23rd of October. If I flipped out when they released their EP, then I think I am going to die when they release the album. I already preordered it, and can’t wait, why won’t the 23rd come?! They already released three songs from the album which are ‘She’s Kinda Hot’, ‘Fly Away’, ‘Jet Black Heart’ and ‘Money’, which is by far my favourite. I will totally do a review on the album when it comes out, and you can preorder it right here on iTunes.
