Dupe or Dump? Maybelline Baby Skin vs. Benefit Pore-fessional

Aloha, beautiful people of the Inter-webs! I will be starting a new seres today! It will be called: dupe or dump; I will be showing you wether I think a product is a dupe or not by comparing them. Today, I am sharing my caparison of the Maybelline Baby Skin, and Benefit’s Professional. I have seen many posts saying that the Baby Skin is a dupe for the Pore-fessional, and now I am going to give you my opinion.  I will be giving you a mini review of each one, then tell you if they are a dupe, or is on of them better than the other.

Pros and Cons of Baby Skin:

  • Pro: Cheap and available at drugstore
  • Con: Looks oily sometimes

Pros and Cons of Porefessional:

  • Pro: Matte finish
  • Pro: Smooths skin perfectly
  • Pro: comes with a bit more product
  • Con: Expensive

I don’t think that the maybelline baby skin is a dupe for the porefessional, but it is a good drugstore pore filling base. By saying that, I don’t mean that it is a bad base, I just don’t think it is a dupe for the porefessional.
